5D Embroidery Software to be released 08/2010. New software will run with Windows 7,
Vista, or XP. The 5D system adds many new and exciting features; however, 4D users will find themselves very comfortable navigating through the program. Create embroidery designs from vector images and bitmap art. Includes 119 pre-digitized fonts. Too many features to list here. Watch for special upgrade prices.

Hoop Sisters Embroidablock of the Month. After our shop received a dealer logon and dealer materials, we made the announcement that we would begin this project. Between the time of the acceptance and our initial order something or someone changed HoopSisters mind. Since our classroom is also the OC Training Center for Pollard's Sew Creative, Marcia Pollard obtained a license to teach the project at three locations. As soon as that announcement was made, HoopSisters revoked one of the licenses. We want to thank all of our customers who have written and telephoned in support of our shop. We have turned this matter over to our attorneys for litigation.

Customer Service. The top of the line sewing/embroidery machines are becoming more expensive and more complicated. When deciding what machine and what dealer to purchase a machine from, take care. Consider the size of the machine and how easy it will be to take to classes. Customer Service and education is also very important. The more complicated the machines, the more care is needed to keep them running efficiently. We have talked with so many customers who are unhappy with their purchase of their machine and the lack of customer care and instruction available once the transaction is completed. Do not get caught up in the heat of the moment, if the deal is good, it will still be good after you have taken the time to do your research. Deals including "free stuff" are not always the best. It is a buyers market. We recommend Pollard's Sew Creative when considering the purchase of a Pfaff product. We have purchased in excess of ten machines from them and find their customer service without fault. Bill, Marcia, Jenny, and the rest of the staff want their customers to be happy and use their machines to the fullest.

Class Policy. When you sign up for a class and don't provide at least forty-eight (48) hours notice that you will not be attending, you will be charged. Many of our previous scheduled classes had a waiting list. For those of you who have missed a class or need to play catch up with a project, you may piggy back another scheduled class, subject to advance notice. This means any class scheduled would be available to you, no matter what is being taught during that time slot, except computer classes. Piggy Back fee will be the original class fee charged.
